The Bosomtwe District Assembly has successfully commissioned a 1No. 12 Seater Water Closet Toilet Facility with Mechanized Borehole at Apinkra on Tuesday, 2nd December, 2025. This is as part of the effort of the District Assembly to improve sanitation in the district. The delegation was led by the District Chief Executive, District Coordinating Director, the Director-Elesam Rock Company, Chief and Elders-Apinkra, Hon. Assembly Member-Apinkra, Unit Committee Chairman and Members-Apinkra, Staff and Community Members.

On Friday, 21st November, 2025, Jachie Area Council of Bosomtwe District Assembly held a meeting with all the information centers within their jurisdiction. The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen existing relationship with the centers as well as educate them on the activities of the Assembly, clarify some misconception about their operations and so on. World Toilet Day is an official United Nations International observance day set on every 19th of November yearly. This international day observance is a date usually set by a major organization or government to commemorate a public health or ethical cause of importance. The motion of this day was to inspire action to tackle global sanitation crisis.
