On Monday, 11th October, 2021 at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC) Conference Hall, a special meeting was held for the 2022-2024 Composite Budget Hearing for the Bosomtwe District Assembly.
The main purpose of the hearing was to renew the Assembly’s revenue and expenditure performance and the target set for 2022-2024 taking into cognizance Government policies and strategies as well as the 2022-2024 Budget Preparation Guidelines made by the Ministry of Finance.
The Assembly team to ARCC was led by Hon. Joseph Kwasi Asuming Esq. (District Chief Executive, Bosomtwe), Hon. Addai Poku Aikins (Convener, Finance and Administration Sub-Committee), Hon. Joyce Amofa (Government Appointee), Hon. Isaac Mensah (Convener, Works Sub-Committee), Hon. Ransford Kusi (Convener, Social Service Sub-Committee), Hon. Richard Agyemang (Convener, Development Planning Sub-Committee) and various Heads of Departments and Units of the Assembly.
The District Budget Analyst, Mrs. Shirley Asante in the turn of the District Assembly took members present through the Assembly’s revenue and expenditure performance and the target set for 2022-2024. Her presentation was brief explainable and successful.
