CAPACITY BUILDING TRAINING ON REVENUE MOBILIZATION

On the 26th May 2022, the HR Department organized a capacity building workshop on how to mobilize revenue at the Kuntenase ICT Center.

The training was attended by the following staffs: Hon. Joseph Kwasi Assuming (DCE), Bismark Delle (HR), Francis Abeku Buckman (Revenue Head), Boakye Wilberforce Awere (Stats/MIS), and Revenue commissioners and collectors. The facilitator for the training workshop was Mr. George Kwakye Andoh (Consultant).

The main objective of the training was to expand collectors’ capacity on the knowledge of revenue mobilization. He explained to the collectors the reasons for revenue generation, thus revenue helps implementing discussed and proposed policies and objectives. The consultant touched on some issues such as communication skills, challenges associated with revenue mobilization and how the collectors should dealt with the challenges. Also, the collectors should furnish the assembly with names of defaulters for right measures to be taken to deter others with wrong intentions about revenue.

The training was successfully executed and the participants were equipped with the necessary skills for revenue mobilization.
