COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT WITH STAKEHOLDERS

The Bosomtwe District Assembly as part of their responsibilities to intensify on the socio-economic growth of the district, the District had an engagement with stakeholders in the Kuntanase Electoral Area on Monday, 10th October, 2022 at the area council. The meeting was organized for all market men and women, drivers, traders, welders, station masters, and all people engaged in businesses to deliberate on matters they were encountering in their business and also to educate them of certain issues such as the necessity of paying rates. The delegation was led by the District Information Service Officer. The District Chief Executive (Hon. Joseph K. Asuming, Esq), District Coordinating Director (Agatha Ahia), District Physical Planning Officer, District Works Engineer, District Procurement officer, District Budget Analyst, some Staff and the invited stakeholders graced the exercise with their present to make meeting a successful one.

The DCE gave a brief introduction at the meeting. In His briefing, he welcomed members to the meeting and thanked them for been present at the meeting in spite of their busy schedules. He also educated them on the payments of rates and advise them to pay on time. He then pleaded that they keep their surroundings clean to avoid the outbreak of diseases.

Opportunity was given to participants to ask questions and to make recommendations. All question was answered and recommendation taken for further actions.
