The Agricultural Department of the Bosomtwe District Assembly distributed Palm-nut trees in the District to promote tree planting in the district as part of a master plan of the Green Ghana project which seeks to restore the forest cover of Ghana.
The agenda of government in planting of trees was observed by the Bosomtwe District Assembly on the 11th of February, 2022. it was part of the District plan to restore the forest cover of the Assembly and the people of Bosomtwe are very interested in this planting of trees.
All interested community members took the opportunity and accepted the trees for planting in their homes and farms.
