The Ghana National Education Campaign Coalition (GNECC) is a network of civic society organization working on the education sector in Ghana, as the civic society mouthpiece on education in Ghana. Their main is to promote equality pre-tertiary education for all children in Ghana through working with national, regional, district and community based-stakeholders. GNECC mission is to work at changing attitudes and practical and influencing policies of institutions (local, national and international governments and intergovernmental bodies, donors) and the general public, towards ensuring quality pre-tertiary education to all through working with civic society organization and communities.
To advance the right to education for marginalized children including those with special education needs and disabilities (SENDS), the GNECC organized a community dialogue with they key District Assembly Stakeholders community and opinion leaders under the project on Wednesday, 27th March, 2024 at the District Assembly Conference Hall. Members present were given the opportunity to give an overview on inclusive education in the district.
