The Orientation workshop on New Indicators for the District performance Assessment Tool was held on 6TH September, 2023 at the District Assembly’s Conference Hall, kuntanase. The meeting was to sensitize Departments on the new indicators and other arrangements towards the assessment. During the meeting, each member present at the meeting was introduced and made familiar with how the new indicators for performance assessment tools may emerge in response to various factors in our district such as technological advancements, shifts in industry standards, changes in what customers expect, evolving organizational strategies and so on. And as stated earlier on in the letter for the invitation to the meeting, an Operational Manual (DPAT VII) were provided for department heads to study the workshop. Due to the study done by department heads before the meeting for the workshop, the orientation program was easy and effective for the District Assembly as they already had knowledge about what was going to take place at the workshop.
