In accordance with Regulation 17(3) of the Public Finance Management Regulation, 2019 (LI 2378) Regional Budget Hearing are being organized for all 261 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) concurrently across all 16 regions from 14th to 25th October, 2024. Regional Budget Hearing provides the Regional Coordinating Council (RCCs) with support from the National Technical Teams the opportunity to jointly review the Revenue and Expenditure Performance of the MMDAs for 2024 an assess the outlook for 2025-2028. The process ensures that the government’s priority policies and programmes are appropriately reflected in the 2025 MMDAs Budget.
In view of the above the Bosomtwe District Assembly paid respect to summons in accordance to the meeting on 14th October, 2024 at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC). Other MMDAs was Asokore Mampong, Oforikrom, KMA and Asokwa.
The Budget Hearing was graced with the presence of the Bosomtwe District Chief Executive, District Coordinating Director, Kuntanase Soodohene, Finance and Administration Convenor , Presiding Member and all Budget Committee Members. In attendance was the Chief Director – RCC, Ag. Head of FDU and rep Hon. Ashanti Regional Minister.
