
A one-day Capacity Building Programme was held for Departmental heads and some core staff of the Bosomtwe District Assembly at the District Assembly Conference Room.
The workshop was organized by the Human Resource Unit of the Assembly with technical support from Geowilson Consult. The training took place on Thursday, 19thAugust, 2021 and was organized to equip staff of the Assembly on Customer Service and Audit.
The District Chief Executive, Hon. Joseph Kwasi Asuming, Esq, in his welcome address commended the staff of the Assembly for the marvelous work they are doing for the assembly and that they should continue to help propel Bosomtwe to greater heights. He tasked the staff to take the training seriously so that it will have positive impact on the activities of the assembly and they should also continue to comply with all covid-19 protocols because Covid-19 is still around.
The District Coordinating Director, Madam Agartha Ahia also gave a brief address. In her briefing she welcomed participants to the training and advised them to put whatever they learn into practice. She then took the opportunity to advise members to change their attitude towards work and wished for a successful training.
Mr. James Ankrah of Geowilson Consult, took participants through customer service. He educated participants on the need to orient clients when they come to their office, the reason why customer service is poor in Public Sector and how to satisfy a customer.
The second presentation on Audit helped participants identify some common findings in audit reports and ways to audit properly.
The participants expressed their gratitude to management for such a nice training and they promise to implement whatever they have being taught for a better Bosomtwe.
