The Department of Social Welfare and Community Development in collaboration with Charlie Care and Needy Foundation (NGO) visited Piase community to donate some food items to Madam Mary Nsiah, a mother of triplet. The visit was necessary based on a report given by a good citizen that the woman has given birth to triplet but their standard of living is very poor so the family needs our support way back. They are a family of 8 people including the triplet.
On the 14th of March, 2022 the visit was done and the items presented were Rice (25kg), Washing and bathing soap, Washing Powder, Cloth, Cooking oil, Biscuit (Piccadilly), Toilet Roll and Drinks. The items were presented by the Head of the Department (Mr. Adusei Amponsah) and two Assistant Social Officers namely Esther Donkor and Charles Kokro.
The family accepted the donation and was very delighted and grateful. They said a word of appreciation to the Department and to the entire Assembly.
