The Education Oversight Committee on Tuesday, 19th July, 2022 held a meeting at the District Assembly Conference Room to discuss matters of the committee.

The general framework within which local servants carry out their responsibilities is spelt out in the Local Governance Act, 2016 [Act 936]. The act contains the code of conduct, thus; a set of values and ethics that serves as a framework for public servants to work.

Based on the Ghana Health Service and Teaching Hospital Act-1996 (Act 525) section 23 every Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assembly (MMDAs) should have a Health Committee which will comprise of the following;

The first Management meeting of the Bosomtwe District Assembly was held at the District Chief Executive’s Office on Tuesday, 5th July, 2022 at 10:00am in the Assembly.

On 25th April, 2022, the Bosomtwe District Assembly conducted a town hall meeting to engage Jachie community members on the 2023 Fee Fixing of the Assembly as part of measures to ensure participation of the citizenry in the process of governance and in pursuance of the Local Gov

The Bosomtwe District Assembly on 21st April, 2022 organized a town hall meeting to educate community members on Fee Fixing of the Assembly and the payment of rates.

As part of measures to ensure participation of the citizenry in the process of governance and in pursuance of the Local Government Act, 2016 (Act 936), a town hall meeting was organized by the Bosomtwe District Assembly on 20th April, 2022 on the 2023 Fee Fixing of the Assembly.

In order to keep Ghana clean and green, Zoomlion Ghana Limited on 8th April 2022, donated a compacter truck to the Bosomtwe District Assembly. This is to help the district properly manage its waste.

On Wednesday, 9th March, 2022, the District Chief Executive of Bosomtwe District Assembly, Hon.

The Bosomtwe District Assembly on Friday, 18th February, 2022 observed the Presiding Member elections at the Pentecost Church at Toamfoum.

The Department of Social Welfare and Community Development in collaboration with Charlie Care and Needy Foundation (NGO) visited Piase community to donate some food items to Madam Mary Nsiah, a mother of triplet.

On Wednesday, 9th March, 2022 after the tour of the Ashanti Regional Minister to inspect all completed and on-going project, The District Chief Executive also used the opportunity and commissioned three Public Toilet Facilities at Abuotem, Feyiase and Oyoko Community Day School.

The Ashanti Regional Minister on Wednesday, 9th of March, 2022 toured Bosomtwe District to see the progress of the various projects completed and on-going within the district. His first point of call was the construction of the Lake Road followed other projects in the district.

The staff durbar was held at the four court of the Bosomtwe District Assembly at about 10:12 am on Monday, 13th December, 2021. The meeting was held with the purpose of deliberating on the issues that bothers staff members (both formal and informal).

The 65th Independence Day Anniversary celebration took place at Kuntanase D/A school park on Sunday 6th March 2022 under the theme: “Working together, Bouncing back better”.  The function starts at 8.00am. it was graced with the present of the Hon.

Children’s rights are part of human rights with particular attention to the rights of special protection and care afforded to children.
