On Wednesday, 7th October, 2026, the District Health Committee of the Bosomtwe District Assembly organized a meeting at the District Assembly’s Conference Hall. The meeting was attended by all members of the District Health Committee, the District Development Planning Officer, the District Engineer, and other key stakeholders.

To improve safety conditions on Lake Bosomtwe, the Bosomtwe District Assembly held an official meeting with the Ghana Maritime Authority on Monday, 28th September 2026, to discuss regularizing all boat transport operations on the lake.
