In all aspects of schooling and its surrounding educational community, the rights of the child to survival, protection, development and participation are at the center of the main of education.
The District Education Oversight Committee (DEOC) concept was established under the Ghana Education Service Act 1995, Act 506 and maintained in Education Act 2008, Act 778. The District Education Oversight Committee (DEOC) has a major role of interacting with the stakeholders in education to ensure the delivery of quality education at the District.
On the 21st July 2020 the District Organised a DEOC meeting at the District Assembly Conference Hall. Members present at the meeting were; the District Chief Executive, District Coordinating Director, District Director of Education, District Director of Health, District Director of Social Welfare, and some Stakeholders.
