In fulfillment of the development of the proposed Aputuogya Market and Lorry Park, a sod cutting ceremony was organized on 8th November, 2022 at the market centre to commence with the construction of the Modern Aputuogya Market and Lorry park through a Build Operation Transfer (BOT) concept under Public Private Partnership. The ceremony started at the Chief’s palace and ended at the place of construction. The project is expected to be completed in 24 months and it will be done in phases.
The ceremony was graced with the presence of the Aputuogya Chief and Elders, the District Chief Executive, the District Coordinating Director, the Consultant - NAT UPRIGHT COMPANY Ltd, Staff of the District Assembly, Market Heads and some Community Members.
