As part of measures to ensure participation of the citizenry in the process of governance and in pursuance of the Local Government Act, 2016 (Act 936), a town hall meeting was organized by the Bosomtwe District Assembly on 26th August, 2022 on the 2023 Fee Fixing of the Assembly. The last meeting was held at Jachie Area Council in Jachie Pentecost Church.
The programme was conducted successfully with the presence of the District Chief Executive, (Hon. Joseph K. Asuming, Esq), District Coordinating Director, (Agatha Ahia), District Budget Analyst and Assisstants, District Information Officer, Heads of Department and Unit, Chiefs of Area Councul, Assembly Members and Unit Committee, Area Council Heads. Participant were taken through the imposition of the various fees, rates and licenses for the year 2023 by Madam Phylis Abrokwa.
