
The Deputy Minister for Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development, Hon. Augustine Collins Ntim paid a working visit to the Bosomtwe District Assembly on the Tuesday 13th September 2022. A welcome programme was organized at the District Assembly Hall to welcome the Deputy Minister.
The occasion was graced with the present of the District Chief Executive, District Coordinating Director the District Police Commander, District Fire Commander, National Investigation Bureau (NIB), Ghana Ambulance Service, Immigration Service, National Health Insurance Authority, National Identification Authority, National Youth Authority, NADMO, Birth and Death Department, District Director of CHRAJ, District Director of NCCE, and all Heads of Department in the District Assembly.
The purpose of the visit was to follow up on the implementation of modernizing Agriculture in Ghana Programme (MAG), Local Economic Development (LED) Programme, Planting for Export and Rural Development, District Center for Agriculture, Commerce and Technology (DCART), the status of Government Flagship Programmes.
The Deputy Minister interacted with some selected Chiefs, Assembly Members, Opinion leaders and all Heads of Department and Units at the Assembly’s Conference Hall. Some selected Heads of Department and Directorates such as Agriculture, Health and Education were given the chance to present (PowerPoint) on District strengths, Programs, achievements under the selected disciplines.
The Deputy Minister commended the District on their performance and encouraged the District to work above their set targets to help ensure the progress of Government Flagship Programmes.
