The Bosomtwe District Assembly in collaboration with the Bosomtwe Health Directorate conducted a breast cancer screening for staff of the assembly in the breast cancer awareness month to know their status. This will help especially the women to detect earlier if any to seek timely medical intervention. The screening was held on Wednesday, 30th October, 2024 at the District Assembly Conference Hall, Kuntanase at exactly 10:00am. The screening included height and weight check, temperature check, sugar level check and last but not the least the breast screening. The Health Directorate also took the opportunity to advice staff on health tips and on how to avoid stress causing our temperature to rise. All members were present and the participation was massive, including both men and women. Participant was successfully screened and given medical advice.
