The government of Ghana with the vision to increase enrollment in schools and provide conducive environment for teaching and learning, has through the Ministry of Education awarded for the construction of the above projects in the mentioned communities.
On Wednesday 19th June 2019, a delegation led by the Honorable District Chief Executive of Bosomtwe Constituency, Hon. Joseph Asuming, with the District Coordinating Director, Madam Agartha Ahia, the District Engineer, and some staff of the District Assembly paid a courtesy call to the Chief and Elders of Pranyinase and Asisiriwa to pave way for the groundbreaking ceremony.
At the gathering, the Honorable District Chief Executive in his speech briefly touched on the intentions of the Government to enrich the education system in Ghana hence the construction of a 6 unit block classroom with ancillary facilities and a 6 unit water closet which are all Getfund projects for the community. As part of his speech, he educated the people on the on-going limited registration exercise and urged those who qualify to partake in the exercise.
Chief and elders in-turn praised the Government for enabling their communities witness such development. The delegation were then led to inspect the various sites where the projects will be undertaken. At the various sites, the Honorable District Chief Executive introduced Jaborah Construction Company as the firm to handle the above mentioned projects at both Prinyinase D/A primary and Asisiriwa D/A primary schools. He also urged the contractor to engage residents from both communities in the construction process.
