In accordance with Regulation 17(3) of the Public Finance Management Regulation, 2019 (LI 2378) Regional Budget Hearing are being organized for all 261 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) concurrently across all 16 regions.
In view of the above the Bosomtwe District Assembly paid respect to summons to participate in the budget hearing on Monday, 20th October, 2025 in Bekwai Municipal Assembly Hall at exactly 10:00am. Other MMDAs included Akrofrom Distrct Assembly, Obuasi East Municipal Assembly and Bekwai Municipal Assembly. This hearing is a critical step in our fiscal planning process, providing an opportunity for stakeholders to review, discuss and provide input on the proposed budget for 2026 fiscal year.
The Budget Hearing was graced with the presence of the Bosomtwe District Chief Executive, District Coordinating Director, Kuntanase Soodohene, Finance and Administration Convenor, Presiding Member, Heads of Department/Unit and all Budget Committee Members.
