In accordance to the section 83 1(g) of the Local Government Act 936 of Act 2016, mandates District Assemblies to monitor and evaluate development policies, programmes and projects in the district.
Pursuant to the above the first quarter monitoring of programmes and projects took place on Wednesday, 20th May, 2026 in Atafram, Adjamam, Konkoma, Bonkorkor, Boneagya and Asisiriwa communities at the project sites. The purpose of the monitoring and evaluation was to track progress, ensure accountability and generate evidence – based insights of work towards the achievement of planned targets and also to identify challenges and make recommendations for efficient and effective delivery of programmes.
The delegation was led by the District Chief Executive, District Co-ordinating Director, District Planning Officer, District Budget Analyst, District Engineer, District Finance Officer, District Health Director, District Education, Youth and Sport Director, District Agriculture Director, District SWCD Director, District Environmental Health Officer, District Internal Auditor, District Procurement Officer, Convenor for Works Sub-Committee, Convenor for Development Planning Sub-Committee, Rep – Center for Development of People, All Contractors of Projects and All Hon. Assembly Members and Unit Committee of project communities.
