On Monday, 26th May, 2025 with a heart full of gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility, the District Chief Executive, Hon. Engr. Abdullah Hamidu stepped into his office as the new District Chief Executive for Bosomtwe District Assembly. This was not just a job for him but the chance to serve the chiefs, the Church and Traditional Councils, the Staff of Agencies and the good people of the district. Formal introduction was made and all office were visited to announce his presence.

The Bosomtwe District Assembly on Tuesday 20th May, 2025 observed the District Chief Executive elections in the Kessben University at Petrensa. The motive was to elect a DCE to steer and drive the assembly to achieving unity, solidarity and growth. The meeting saw a record attendance with a membership of 50 Assembly Members with 35 Members and 15 Appointees. The Heads of Department and Unit were also in attendance to witness the occasion and also the District Chief Executives from the neighboring Assemblies.

On Monday, 5th May, 2025 the Link Community Development (LCD) in collaboration with the District Assembly organized a stakeholders meeting to discuss the progress made in the implementation of the Luminous Second Chance Project in the Bosomtwe District Assembly. The meeting was held in the District Conference Hall. The meeting aimed for a smooth continuation of the project in the district. All members were present to make the meeting a success.
