DISTRIBUTION OF OIL PALM SEEDLINGS IN BOSOMTWE DISTRICT
Under one of government’s initiative “Planting for Export and Rural Development” (P.E.R.D), which has the objective to decentralize national tree cropping programme to promote rural and economic incomes of rural farmers, enhance foreign exchange-earning capacity and generate jobs, Bosomtwe District assembly undertook an activity to distribute its certified selected improved seedlings which is palm and coconut to farmers in its communities.

The Government of Ghana with the vision to improve the system of education by providing conducive environment for teaching, learning as well as increase enrollment in various schools has through the Ministry for Education awarded for the construction of the above projects in the mentioned communities within d Bosomtwe District Assembly.
TRAINING OF DISTRICT MANAGEMENT TEAM AND ESRESO REVENUE COLLECTORS ON THE DISTRICT LOCAL REVENUE SOFTWARE (DLRev) BY GIZ AT DISTRICT CONFERENCE HALL
The dLRev is a web-based application with a digital address map (local plan) of a district produced using a geographic information system. The local plan has a spatial database and with a corresponding fiscal cadastre of revenue items, the software is used to manage data, billing, and collection.

In the view of the Government of Ghana policy to Decentralized the processes in the applications of government Scholarship from the National level to the District level, the Bosomtwe District Assembly on the 11th day of July 2020 conducted interviews for successful scholarship applicants.

The Bosomtwe District Assembly in its effort to support the government in achieving the sustainable development goal 8.5 which seeks to achieve full and productive employment for persons with disabilities on 14th August, 2020 held an event at the forecourt of the district assembly to support some selected disabled in the district.
